This is one of the vocabulary sheets that I would like to include in the student packets for the conference on Friday. It was the version that worked best in my classroom. Resolution Vocabulary

hello!
Here´s the country note taking sheet that I made, based on the model that Matt uploaded to the blog. I followed the lis of countries Maria gave us, using the same country names, which I don´t think are official. It´s basic, but I don´t think we need anything else.
Happy conference preparations!

Below you will find a link to the schedule for this year’s conference. Please let me know if there are any issues opening the document.

Here’s the outline I made for formal debate speeches. It’s modeled on the one we have in our Global Classrooms book, but I think that it’s a bit more precise.
-Michael Frenkel (IES Cantabria)
Here is an informative worksheet I’ve made outlining seven useful tactics and language to teach students so that they can use their speaking time strategically during moderated caucus. The tactics are divided into the following blocks with examples:
The second worksheet is a blank form with the appropriate language for students to brainstorm their own phrases.

Here is a template I used for a placard at our conference. On the back it has information on Yields, Points, and Motions.
Also, here is a note sheet with space for taking notes and writing if a group agrees or disagrees with the other groups. It’s pretty simple but it worked really well at our conference.

These are some of the more consistently good sites for doing research for the position papers on water. They seem to cover all aspects, including background information, national actions, and international actions.
Some have been mentioned before, here on this blog or in emails, but I thought I would compile them.
